Each student in this class receives a brand new Webkinz stuffed animal (with the tags still attached)! Now that you have one, let’s make some accessories. This wonderful class combines several of our classes—with a twist. During this session, students learn a few woodworking skills as they build a bed for their new friend, a few sewing skills so they can make a mattress and pillow, then a basic knitting stitch in order to make a blanket. Students will also learn crochet as we make a rug for beside the bed.
Macramé is a form of textile art that uses different kinds of knotting techniques instead of weaving or knitting. Add colorful beads to the knots and you have a beautiful wall hanging! Most children will recognize it as the knots tied in a friendship bracelet. Join us as we make bracelets, wall hangings and plant holders.
Are you interested in several different types of needlework? This class shows students how to knit, crochet and weave. Students get an overview of each type of needlework and make at least one small project of each kind. Knitting isn’t just for Granny anymore. Now, with all the new yarns available, you can make so many different and interesting projects. No previous experience required. A great introductory class!

Create wonderful wall hangings or coasters. These completed projects will look like you quilted them expertly on a sewing machine, but no sewing is involved. We will begin with a small easy coaster and then work our way into harder more complicated designs. Students will be able to chose the fabric combinations for all pieces.
