Welcome to Kids Are Creative
When Jaicee Designs started in 1995; we went directly to the local Elementary Schools. We wanted to offer programs on the school campus to make the classes more convenient for both parents who worked full time, and for students in the school. It is much easy to attend a class that is just down the hall, then to drive across town! Now, after 15+ years of doing Afterschool Enrichment classes and opening our own store for classes; we still feel that the classes in the schools are the most important part of our business.
Last year, we separated the work that we do in the local schools from the work that we do in our store. The part of our company that goes out to schools is now a Non-Profit Corporation called Kids Are Creative.
We are always looking for new schools to offer our classes at. If your child’s school is interested in offering any of our classes, please contact us and we will set up a schedule for you.
On our site you will find classes that we currently offer at schools. Classes are generally set up as a 1½ hour class, one day a week; however we are very happy to work with your school’s schedule. Our price for the classes include all materials and supplies needed for the class; and the students will take home all completed projects. We are happy to come teach just one class a week, or if you see several that you think your students would be interested in; then we will come offer as many as you choose.
General Information about the Classes
- Class minimum is 5 students for all classes
- Class maximum is 9 students for the sewing classes and 12 students for all other classes
- Almost all of our classes are open to students ages 5 and older. It will be noted if otherwise.
- All supplies and materials are included in the cost of the class
- Instructors will bring with them all supplies they need for the class; including extension cords and drop cloths.
- Fees have not increased again this year (YEA! 4th year in a row!) For fee information, please contact us.
